Aleksander Grzybek was born in Bialystok, where he lives and works. In 1979 he graduated from the Institute of Artistic Education in Lublin in the studio of Marian Bogusz and Andrzej Kolodziejek. In 1975-1981 he exhibited with the A.S. Group, which he co-founded. He cooperated in the organization of Lublin Art Meetings. The artist had many solo exhibitions between 1982 and 2018 and participated in more than 30 group exhibitions, plein-air events and art competitions. His works are in the collections of the Podlaskie Museum, the "Arsenal" Gallery in Bialystok, the Social Press Association "Stopka" in Lomza and in many private collections at home and abroad. The main theme of his work is man. The human figure has been reduced by the artist to a graphic sign and multiplied. Configurations of silhouettes, depicting the spiritual and emotional sides of the human psyche, are arranged in various compositional forms. She is currently an art therapist and a teacher in elementary, secondary and post-secondary schools. She conducts workshops for teachers. She is one of the first art therapists.
