Biography
From 1978 to 1980 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. In 1980 he began an apprenticeship at "Hermann Noack Bildgiesserei" in West Berlin - a renowned sculpture foundry. For three years there he perfected the technique of casting on lost wax. During this time, sculptures by such atists as Henry Moore, Kenneth Armitage were realized there. During his apprenticeship, he began studying at the Hochshule der Kunste, an art academy in Berlin. In 1986 he returned to Wroclaw. In 1990, together with a group of Wroclaw artists, he exhibited his works at the Cannden Art Center in London. He made his first independent exhibition in 1991 at the Wroclaw "Desa" on Kosciuszko Square. At that time, prestigious Scandinavian galleries were interested in his works. Since then his sculptures are known in England, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, France and Germany.
