Iustitia - Roman goddess, identified with the Greek Themis or Dike. She is depicted with a scale, sometimes blindfolded ("blind law", she does not look at persons, but listens to arguments) and a sword.
Paul Ludwig Kowalczewski (Mielżyn 25 August 1865 - Berlin 9 May 1910) - German sculptor, brother of sculptor Karl Kowalczewski. He studied at the Berlin Academy from 1895 to 1898, and from 1899 to 1906 presented his works at the Great Art Exhibitions in Berlin. He specialized in small sculptures (Germane, Tired of Work, Archer); he also made busts, including Napoleon I, pianist J. Eisenberg). Kowalczewski's works are in German museums (Berlin, Desau).
