Polish visual artist born in 1985 in Bydgoszcz, Poland. He comes from a family with strong artistic roots, in which especially marked:
Józef Wodyński (1884 - 1947) - Polish stage designer and painter, pupil of J. Stanislawski, J. Falat,
Jan Wodyński (1903 - 1988) - Polish capist painter, co-founder of the Second Paris Committee, pupil of W. Weiss
In 2005, Łukasz Wodyński defended his diploma from the State High School of Fine Arts in Bydgoszcz, majoring in graphic design. In 2010, he defended his diploma in painting with distinction in the studio of Prof. Piotr Klugowski at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the MIKO£AJ KOPERNIK UNIVERSITY in Toruñ.
In his work, the artist reaches out to classical drawing and painting techniques, sculpture, as well as new media and performance techniques. His work is multilayered. First and foremost, it centers around the subject of man and the deep existential, emotional and spiritual ground associated with it. He also touches on the problems of the postmodern world, realizing the scale of the challenges he faces.
