Biography
Katarzyna Lipecky graduated in painting with an appendix to her diploma in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (Poland). In 2008, Lipecky realized a photographic project from the set of the film "The Mill and the Cross", directed by Lech Majewski. In 2015, her sculpture was invited to the European Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona. Her sculptures are also in the permanent collection of the National Museum in Gdansk, among others. Sculptures are also in many other art collections in the United Arab Emirates, the United States, France, Belgium, Austria, Poland and Lithuania. Recent exhibitions include the prestigious Polish Sculpture Center, Orońsko, Mark Rothko Art Center, Latvia. Her works have been exhibited at art fairs in Vilnius, Vienna and Warsaw. In 2019, she won the national competition "Jutronauts" for artists and scientists creating the future. The competition was organized by Gazeta "Wyborcza" and Sebastian Kulczyk.
