Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Department of Sculpture from 1979 to 1984, under the direction of Prof. J. Kucz and Prof. S. Kulon. In parallel with sculpture, he has been creating bonsai since his college days. He is one of the founders of the Bonsai Club - Poland. He has participated in many exhibitions, symposia at home and abroad. In 2000, a documentary film about the artist was released titled. "Life itself." Honorary member of the Art Front Association and founder of the Zbigniew Maleszewski Polish Sculpture Foundation. Abstract thinking about form is the goal of his creative search, even if the subject is a human being. His favorite sculptural material is stone whose color and texture are often the inspiration for the work. His works can be found in public spaces and private collections at home and abroad.
