Iza Rostworowska - sculptor, designer (including glass, stage design). Born in the Podkarpacie region, in an old town surrounded by the mysterious Sandomierska Forest. Graduated from full-time studies in Interior Design and postgraduate studies in Scenography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. In her second year of studies, she co-designed the scenography of the cult show ''Crazy Locomotive''. Designer of the world-famous collection of unique glassware initiated at the ''Fistka'' factory in Tarnow. The copyright-free design took on a life of its own, developed and perfected for 30 years by hundreds of small glassworks throughout Poland, thanks to which an entire branch of the glass industry was created.
She has exhibited her prworks in galleries, galleries and museums in Germany, Denmark and Poland. Her works are in private collections around the world.
The sculptures are made of bronze using the ''lost wax'' method. They are inspired by ancient cultures and beliefs of Mediterranean peoples and Christianity. As the artist explains, her works "clothe in matter the eternal faith, hope and experience of the wealth of beings of the invisible world; angels, seraphim, hierarchies, kingdoms, saints and all messengers and helpers accompanying us on our journey."
