Biography
In 1939 he graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under Feliks Szczęsny Kowarski and Leonard Pękalski. He belonged to the "Warsaw" group. Painter, graphic artist and draughtsman not affiliated with any group or artistic orientation. He uses a variety of techniques (brush, pen, graphic techniques, ink) created monothematic series, including "Seabed", "War Against Man", "Imaginary Portraits", series "Reminiscences", "Epitaphs", "Family". He paints paintings with synthesized forms and figures, with rich backgrounds and relief textures, and is also involved in mural painting and stained glass (design of a stained glass window for the Mausoleum of Struggle and Martyrdom in Szucha Avenue in Warsaw).
