Clock in an irregularly shaped case, supported on 5 legs; the body of the clock set (fixed) on 4 volute legs on a presentoire base, with a floor with a regency grid motif. Mechanism in a box framed by two acanthus branches; in the finial a shell and a floral garland. The dial with white enamel, Roman hour and Arabic minute divisions, at the bottom - the trademark of Japy Freres et Co - crossed letters: "J, F, C". The door with convex glass. At the back, covering the mechanism, brass door, cut into an openwork rosette; on the mechanism plate - under the steel bell bowl - the company's mark of distinction: around the cross of the Legion of Honor the inscription: "Japy Freres- Med. d'Honneur" and the beaten number "71178/X".
Complete with a pair of three candelabra with acanthus leaf decoration.
