Graphic artist, painter and educator influenced by Japanese woodcut and the Cracow school of landscape. He studied at the Munich academy and lived permanently in Cracow. He cultivated woodcuts and color linocuts, the subjects of which are usually architecture and landscapes. Legionary. In 1940 he signed the German nationality list; he was executed by sentence of the Home Army.
