Quick and impressionistic portrait sketch of a smiling boy, shown in bust, with head slightly lowered and eyes closed. A very intimate and personal work, well reflecting the person portrayed and showing the excellent technique of the thoroughly trained in Munich author, Witold Pruszkowski (1846 - 1896). An interesting contribution to the knowledge of the painter's oeuvre - known as the author of large compositions of mostly symbolist expression.
