[WALTER-ŁOMNICKA Rita, handbag designs]. Two handmade designs for women's handbags in folk styling, prepared for the cooperative "Starodruk" in Krakow in 1971.
Gouache on paper, two sheets form. 19x33 cm. Works unsigned, handwritten description on the back: "II. Combined horseshoe" and "V. Cracow Sachet." Descriptions include technological details: type of material used, colors, embroidery stitches, types of patches. The designs include a drawing of the front, back and side ("Horseshoe") and front and side ("Sachet"). On the back of each sheet the stamp of the Cooperative of Labor of Artistic Industry "Starodruk" in Cracow, on one additionally the stamp of "Cepelia" with the notation "Rejected" and "To be reworked". Designs obscured by a sheet of semi-transparent tracing paper (in one case folded). Good condition.
