ARTISTIC VISION
Their artistic vision was shaped by their fascination with the nature of electrical discharges. The unpredictable nature of the phenomenon prompted them to take up the theme of the complexity of the universe, exploring the specific structure of reality and creating conditions that encourage reflection on its intricacies and subtleties. Interpreting their abstract works is akin to looking into the world of dreams. Each person can derive different meanings and connotations from the same image, making their work a source of introspection. By exploring the unexpected, they have learned to accept the unknown. They pass this experience on to their audiences, pointing out that being open to variation is liberating to the mind and can lead to personal growth.
TECHNIQUE
The technique in which they create involves direct recording of electrical discharges. They place light-sensitive material on a thick pane of glass and above it an electrode from which they conduct the discharge. They use fast processes, objects and substances to create compositions of varying complexity. The process of developing and fixing the works is the same as for analog photography.
