Vladimiro Elvieri - (born 1950 in Schio), Italian painter and engraver, graduate of the National Institute of Ceramic Art in Nove, collaborates with Armando Martini's printmaking workshop "Torchio Thiene", which works in the field of experimentation, often combining traditional drypoint technique on plastics such as Plexiglas. His extensive graphic production currently has more than 500 prints, mostly etchings on Plexiglas, but also "classical" prints and others. He is a member of the International Society of Engravers "Amigrav" in Montreal and a professor of engravings in the Kaus of Urbino group. He has participated in many personal and group, Italian and international exhibitions. From 1976 to 1982 he exhibited works at the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice, where he received awards in 1978 and 1980. Since 1999, he has been an organizer and pillar of the International Biennial of Engraving in Cremona.
