Lithograph, paper, dimensions 55 x 45 cm, signed on panel p. d. "WiktorZin"
Wiktor Zin (1925 - 2007) is an architect, expert and lover of Polish architecture, conservator and popularizer of topics related to it. He is known and remembered for his fascinating television programs "With Pen and Charcoal", in which he would make parallel illustrations to the text under discussion while storytelling about the Polish landscape. His style, especially his monochromatic works drawn in charcoal, is recognizable at a glance. The popularity of the author's program and drawings led to their publication in the form of black-and-white lithographs, of which the roadside shrine under an oak tree with a statue of St. John Nepomucen is an excellent example.
