Baron Ferdinand Kloch de Kernitz worked for Karol Beyer, the pioneer of Warsaw photography. Since 1866, together with Meletius Dutkiewicz, they ran an atelier at 7 Krakowskie Przedmieście St. They also had a branch in Kalisz, from where it is very close to Uniejow. In 1869 the paths of the partners parted. Melecjusz Dutkiewicz (1836-1897) studied photography in Vienna. From 1865 he worked at Beyer's atelier in Warsaw, where he met F. Kloch. After the company dissolved, they sold the atelier. Dutkiewicz tried to make a living from the production of bromo-gelatin films. Unfortunately, not much came of it.He died in poverty.
