He studied art at the Higher School of Pedagogy in Czestochowa, but, as he says, his studies gave him only theoretical preparation and he is a self-taught painter. In 1991, he became a member of ZPAP. After his individual debut at the Czestochowa BWA in 1994, his works were included in the traveling exhibition "Polish Surrealists" presented in the country in 1995-1997. In 1998, his work was taken up by the New York gallery Stricoff Fine Art. The artist represents the popular trend of the so-called "magic realism", and his works are very popular among art audiences not only in Poland.
