Teresa Bujnowska (born 1948 in Szczecin). Painter and illustrator. Studied at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. She lives and works in Cracow. She cultivates geometric abstraction, considering the problem of the sign as a carrier of ideas and the issue of the mathematical nature of the world as a source of inspiration. She takes as her starting point the universal symbolism of numbers and their emanations - elementary geometric shapes (circle, triangle, square, pentagon), which leads her to search for a new, complex geometric form generated from numerical principles.
