Graphic artist and illustrator, professor at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Studied in Poznan and in Warsaw with Skoczylas. He was a member of ZPAG and Rytu. He mainly practiced woodcut. He is the author of four cycles of graphics, thematically related to the Gorce and Podhale regions. The volume "Szlembark", with an introduction by K. Wierzynski, was published in 1932 by the Institute of Art Propaganda. The artist was connected with Szlembark, located in the Gorce Mountains, since the early 1920s; he was inspired by Szlembark's landscapes and repeatedly portrayed its inhabitants, with whom he was friends.
