He was associated with Kazimierz Dolny since 1953. Enchanted with the historic town, he came here regularly. He exhibited his works at the Nadwislańskie Museum and was an honorary member of the Kazimierski Konfraternity of Art. His first exhibition presented his own collection of paintings, as one of his passions was collecting artwork. He displayed his paintings at the Summer Gallery and his posters at the Bell Tower. On the walls of the U Radka café are frescoes painted by Franciszek Starowieyski with his own hands. For the last 30 years of his life, every year at the end of August he organized exhibitions of his work in the Kazimierski Market Square and the Gate Gallery. This provided an opportunity for personal meetings with the master, who was regarded as an important personality in the artistic life of the town. For Franciszek Starowieyski, Kazimierz Dolny was a piece of his own homeland. Among his many activities and interests, he always found time to come here. - kazimierzdolny24 .pl
