Painter, graphic artist, stage designer. Studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts under Ignacy Pienkowski, Teodor Axentowicz and Wojciech Weiss, and additionally graphics under Jan Wojnarski - graduated in 1927. He supplemented his studies in Paris and Italy. In his work, he mainly practiced woodcuts. Most often he took up figural and architectural subjects - fortifications, churches, market squares, schools, castles, architectural details, interiors - which he subjected to decorative stylization.
