("The National Museum acquired from the donation of Franciszek Biesiadecki"). Handwritten inventory numbers. On the reverse, glue mark in the lower margin, fold of the upper corner.
A. Ryszard (1841-1894) - merchant, January Uprising insurgent, numismatist, author of the monumental "Album of Polish Numismatics" (which remains in manuscript), owner of a rich collection of coins from the Piast and Jagiellonian periods and medals of religious content created by him; "he had, moreover, a rich library containing 998 items from the history of minting and historical medals [...]. Ryszard's book collection was acquired by Franciszek Biesiadecki and donated to the library of the Czapski Museum in Cracow" (PSB).
