Ryszard Prauss studied 1924-1930 in the studios of Mieczysław Kotarbiński and Tadeusz Pruszkowski at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. At the same time he studied printmaking with well-known professors: Władysław Skoczylas and Edmund Bartłomiejczyk. Ryszard Prauss is a traditional painter and draftsman, specializing mainly in pencil and crayon. His favorite subjects are mainly Polish reconstructed architecture.
