[ORDA NAPOLEON]. Brzeznica (Poland). [Description under the figure]. Town founded by Leszek the Black r. 1265. Here was born r. 1415 Jan Długosz one of the first Polish historians and teacher of the Sons of King Casimir the Jagiellonian. An ancient church founded in the 14th century, probably where Dlugosz was baptized. In the town there is a larch church built r. 998. Drawn from nature by Napoleon Orda. Lithographed at Lit. M. Fajans in Warsaw. Lengthwise lithograph format 44/31 cm. Slight traces of flooding in margins, slight spotting due to acidity of paper. (S).
