Portrait of Tadeusz Kosciuszko engraved by Antoni Oleszczyński (1794-1879) according to a painting by Ksawery Zeltner. Bust of Kosciuszko facing slightly left, against the sky, with the Virtuti Militari cross on his chest. Title under the composition. Above the title, signature (clearly visible only when enlarged): "Dessiné sous les conseilles de M. Zeltner ami de Kosciuszko et gravé sur acier par Antoine Oleszczynski Polonais membre de l'Academie de Florence et de la Société Philotechnique de Paris 1829". Above the composition on the right the inscription "Pologne". The engraving comes from L. Chodźko's work "La Pologne", vol. 3 (Paris 1839-1842). Very good condition. Sheet in shared wooden frame and passe-partout.
