Digigraphie print on paper, work described on the back: title, edition number. Unframed work. The work comes from a collector's portfolio titled "Mandylion" with sacred works by Jerzy Nowosielski, which was published by the Orthodox Parish of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Cracow. The work has a certificate of authenticity signed by the pastor of the Orthodox Parish, Fr. Jaroslaw Antosiuk, and stamped. The print is made using the Giclée technique on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm archival matte cotton paper. The work made in Digigraphie by Epson standard is confirmed by a convex stamp in the corner of the work and Digigraphie certificate.

JERZY NOWOSIELSKI Born in 1923 in Cracow, died in 2011 there. In 1940
began regular studies at the Department of Decorative Painting at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Krakow,
where he was a student of Stanislaw Kamocki. From an early age, he was fascinated by Eastern liturgy. At the
First Exhibition of Modern Art in Cracow in 1948/49 he showed paintings maintained in the trend of abstraction
geometric abstraction. During the years of Socialist Realism, he did not exhibit, dealing at the time with stage design and
painting Orthodox churches and churches. In 1955 in Lodz he presented his first exhibition

individual exhibition, in 1956 he took part in the XXVIII Venice Biennale. From 1957 to 1962 he was a teacher
at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Lodz, then at the Krakow Academy, where he
he taught at the Faculty of Painting until his retirement in 1993.
