Wizard of the stylus 78. woodcut form. 20x15.2 on ark. 29.8x22.4 cm. Don Quixote on horseback, in foreground a group of villagers with umbrellas. Signature on the woodblock in the lower left corner with bound monogram M. S. Plot from the first volume of Cervantes' "The Precocious Hidalgo Don Quixote of Mancha" published in 1933 (volume two did not appear), with 16 woodcut illustrations by Mrożewski. Engraving pasted on a sheet of white paper, good condition.
