The print is from Georges Charensol's 1948 monograph of the artist, published in 250 pieces. A reduced version of a portrait originally printed in 190 pieces. Monique Garbarovitz-Artur (1924-2015) was, among other things, the wife of celebrity photographer and "Paris Match" contributor Walter Carone and, from 1956, the wife of painter Claude Rabanit and a friend of Kisling. She was head of the production company "Les films de la vie."
