Miroslaw Piotrkowski (1942-2002), "Luneta."

Studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
Obtained his diploma in 1970 in the intaglio studio of Prof. Edmund
Piotrowicz and in the relief print studio of Prof. Ryszard Krzywka. Immediately after

graduation he starts working at the Department of Graphic Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University, going through all the
degrees of scientific and teaching career: from assistant to full professor.
ordinary.He created in metal techniques - etching, aquatint, dry
needle - at first monochrome graphics, later compositions
color - adding serigraphy to the above-mentioned techniques. The leading theme in his
works is the sea.
