A native of Lodz, where he graduated from the High School of Fine Arts and began his studies in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of Władysław Strzemiński, then continued them at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sopot in the studio of Juliusz Studnicki. In addition to painting, he has practiced artistic and applied graphics, architectural painting, book illustration, poster design, as well as designing stained glass and museum exhibitions. He is the author of the logos for the Gdansk Fair, Gdansk University of Technology and the Gdynia City Museum. In the 1980s, he co-created exhibitions at the Central Maritime Museum, the National Museum in Gdansk, the Historical Museum of the City of Gdansk and the Museum of the City of Gdynia. In the 1990s, he exhibited a series of his works in Auckland, New Zealand, and upon his return in Sopot. He has received many awards and prizes for his posters and art graphics.
