Biography
Studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, received his diploma in the studio of Prof. Ludwik Maciąg in 1985. One of his first solo exhibitions took place at the Zapiecek Gallery in Warsaw (1987), the same year he received a gold medal at the Biennale of Sacred Art in Gorzow. He has shown his works in significant European and American galleries. He paints large format figures and figural scenes full of dynamism and movement, which he emphasizes with the asymmetry of the composition. The depicted scenes sometimes give the impression of continuing already beyond the canvas. He uses saturated colors and contrasting chiaroscuro. His works are in private collections in the US, Canada UK, Germany, France, Australia and South Africa.
