Biography
Artist, designer, photographer, collector and anthropologist of popular culture. Hedonist consistently promoting the Culture of Delight. Graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (diploma in printmaking with an annex in painting). He continued his studies at the Universitat de Barcelona, the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan and the Centro Multimedia del Centro Nacional de las Artes in Mexico. In the 1990s, he ran an authorial column in the monthly magazine Machina called "Rzecz Kultowa", later transferred under the name "From Things" to the pages of Fluid magazine. He was a consultant and co-author of the project "ABCDF - visual dictionary of Mexico City" (2000-2002). He is the main author of the graphic and architectural image of the sex shop chain "Love Store" (Mexico 2005). He became known to a wider audience through the multidisciplinary project "Pink Not Dead!" (Garash Gallery, Mexico City / CCA Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw, 2006). He has published four photo albums: "Fúnebre" (together with Jeronimo Hagerman, Editorial Diamantina, 2006), "W-wa" (Bęc Zmiana Foundation, 2007), "Minimal Fetish" (Leto, 2010) and "Dziary" (Zachęta Gallery, 2018). In many of his projects, he engages in a dialogue with eroticism and pornography - in this case, it is worth mentioning the mural Fertilty Pop (2008), completed in Warsaw's Zachęta Gallery, or a series of collages under the common title Pussy Mandala (2008-9). Intense color, explored both in its vital potential and socio-cultural dimension, is an essential element in his work.

He has realized a number of objects and installations in public space: "Światłotrysk" (Warsaw, 2009), "Color Cube" (Wrocław, 2010), "Obelisk" (Poznań´ 2010), "Phantom" (Brussels, 2011), "Phantom" (Lublin, 2011), "Totem" (Open'er, Gdynia, 2012), "Beast" (Cracow, 2013), "Melancholy" (Tarnów, 2013), "Flytraps", "Obelisk", "Pyramid" (Krakow 2014- 15), "El-Iksir" Elbląg, 2014, "Slip" (Warsaw, 2015), "Fryga" (Szczecin, 2015), "Living Sugar" (Poznan, 2016), "Kalina" (Warsaw, 2016) and "Mezzoforte" (Krakow, 2017). He is associated with the Leto gallery in Warsaw. He lives and works alternately in Poland and Mexico.
