The painting is a watercolor study. It depicts a figure of a greyhound lying on a couch, or in an armchair against a background of a freely spreading, multicolored decorative bedspread - a macaw, etc. The painting is dominated by warm tones: light cream, pink and reddish-brown, while on the left side - gray-ash. The lower part - is a natural white ground color. The greyhound's coat has been marked with fine pencil strokes. In the lower right corner of the painting there is a legible signature of the artist: "ST.MASLOWSKI*98".
The inkograph measures 195 x 295 mm (print). It is framed in a pine frame with passe partout.
The original can be admired at the National Museum in Warsaw.
