Marian Warzecha was born in 1930 in Kraków. In 1948 he began his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, where he studied painting and stage design with breaks. He received his diploma in 1957 and also studied ethnography and art history at Jagiellonian University. In 1957 he reactivated the "Cracow Group ". His works were exhibited at the Second Exhibition of Contemporary Art in Warsaw.
