Biography
Polish visual artist, painter, draughtsman, poster artist and satirist. Graduated from the Interior Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He was involved in painting, posters, stage design and furniture design. He made his debut as a cartoonist in 1992. Since 1993, he was a regular cartoonist for the weekly Polityka. His drawings illustrated texts in the Daily Observer, Life, Gazeta Wyborcza, For 12 years, until September 2013, he was a cartoonist for Przekroj. He currently draws for the Gazeta.pl portal. His drawings are published on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. He is the winner of the 2003 Grand Press in the journalism category, an award from the Polish Culture Foundation given to him in 2004 by Slawomir Mrożek.
He is the author of the cover of rapper Łon's album Absurd and Nonsense. In 2013, the Red and Black publishing house published an interview with Marek Raczkowski titled "The book I wrote to have for hookers and drugs." He is the author of "Historyjki obrazkowe : tak się rysuje!", Znak Publishing House 2004 and Przygód Stanisława z Łodzi, Znak Publishing House 2005.
