Mańczak Edmund (1917-1987)-painter and graphic artist, and in 1946-50 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, 1950-51 completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the atelier of E. Eibisch, and received his diploma in 1954. After graduation, in 1958-67 he worked as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Painting and Graphics at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Since 1946, he worked actively, creating caricatures for "Ekspres Poznanski", "Głos Wielkopolski", and after moving to Warsaw, he cooperated with "Życie Warszawy", "Mucha", "Trybuna Wolności", "Szpilki", among others. Participated in numerous individual and group exhibitions, at home and abroad.
