ŁOPIEŃSKI Ignacy (1865-1941) - Ekslibris of the National Museum in Cracow.
Etching form. ca. 9.4x6.5 on ark. 31.5x22.3 cm. Crown of Casimir the Great supported by two hands, below an hourglass and laurel branches. The design of the ex-libris was made by Jan Bukowski and in 1902 became the winner of the competition announced by the MNK for the museum's own ex-libris. The graphic form was given to the project by Ignacy Lopienski, a Warsaw graphic artist, painter, sculptor and medalist, co-founder of the Society of Friends of Graphic Arts. The exlibris is signed by the graphic artist on the plate with the monogram I. Ł. (at the bottom of the composition, right). Sheet slightly dusty, good condition.
