LEBENSTEIN Jan (1930-1999) - Construction of the first windmill: pigs don't care - illustration to "Animal Farm" by G. Orwell.
Color lithograph form. 65x46 on ark. 69.5x49.6 cm. On the lower margin on the right the pencil signature of the artist: "Lebenstein 74", on the left: "E.A." (= epreuve d'artiste; author's print, at the artist's disposal). There, in the center, the artist's handwritten dedication to an unnamed Slawomir Mrozek ("To Dear Slaw Jan"). The board comes from the 1972 portfolio of 10 prints "Animal Farm," an artistic interpretation of George Orwell's famous anti-totalitarian novel. Very good condition.
