Creator of the notion and concept of neo-sacred art, painter, creator of contemporary sacred interiors, illustrator. The view of reality he developed resulted in a visual language that is a common denominator of empiricism and spirituality. It is also a philosophical and theological view that is a bridge between strictly scientific reasoning and the emotional-spiritual side of man.
He graduated from Gdansk University of Technology in 2009 with a degree in thermal power engineering. He remained at the university, where he taught. He participated in scientific research on heat recovery systems under the direction of Dr. Marek Jaskólski. At the same time, he began studying at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He ended up in the studio of Dr. Jacek Kornacki, who helped him discover a creative path inspired by the sciences. In 2011, he began attending lectures on anatomy by Prof. Marek Grzybiak at the Medical Academy in Gdansk. He then passed the preparatory course and was admitted to the dissection classes, where he made drawing studies of the internal structure of humans. He passed the course in normal anatomy at the undergraduate level after passing the exam with excellence. He continues to do anatomical and illustration work sporadically to this day in cooperation with PZWL and the Department of Human Anatomy at the Medical University of Warsaw. In 2013, he moved to Warsaw and graduated from the local Academy of Fine Arts in the diploma studio of Prof. Andrzej Rysinski and the monumental painting studio of Prof. Edward Tarkowski. His diploma work was presented at the exhibition Best Diplomas of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw "ComingOut 2014" and was awarded an honorable mention in the competition for the Best Diploma of Higher Artistic Schools of Poland ArtNoble 2014. In 2013-2016, he collaborated with Dr. Lukasz Majcherowicz on polychromes of church interiors. Thanks to this, he learned the principles of monumental composition and a holistic understanding of large interiors. Since 2016, he has been working individually.
Krzysztof Sokolovski's more important completed monumental projects are the Neo-Sacral Chapel at the Chapel of the Association of the Knights of Malta in Klebark Wielki (Olsztyn district) and the Cappella della Pace (Chapel of Peace; collaboration with Joanna Mazuś) at the convent of the Salesian Sisters in Jerusalem.
