Born in 1947 in Cracow. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow at the Faculty of Graphics 8 diploma in 1971, and at the Royal College of Art in Stockholm. Initially engaged in applied graphics and linocut. Since 1976, he has mainly created copperplates, of which more than 130 have been created to date. In the 1990s, he also worked on watercolor and pastel series. He is a lecturer at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw. Winner of many national and international awards, he has had dozens of solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Works in museum collections include: National Museum; in Warsaw, Krakow, Szczecin, Gdansk, Poznan, Albertina Society in Vienna, Museum of Contemporary Art in New York, NDA Gallery in Sapporo, Pontifical Council for Culture in Vatican, Museum of Art and Culture in Freiburg.
