Algimantas Kriščiūnas is a Lithuanian artist born in 1968. In 1985, after graduating from school, he was drafted into the Soviet Army where he began playing in the band Foje. An existentialist and humanist view of the world has framed his work. His works are born of uncertainty and joy, each with its own unique story. The characteristics of his works can change with the mood of the viewer. The artist's feelings are only half of the emotional quality of the work, they accumulate with his own experiences and experiences. Algimantas Kriščiūnas creates surrealistic works in the service of the idea of life as we imagine it. Manifesting himself as a versatile artist, he is involved in: painting, pop art, book illustration, photography and music, and is also a songwriter. His large-format pop-art works decorate public buildings in Lithuania and abroad.
