Original print published as an insert (loose) to the monthly magazine "Plastyka", no. 4(25) of 1938, offered with a complete issue of the magazine. Condition: soiling, discoloration(mainly on the margins and cover of the magazine). Contents of the magazine include article "Woodcut by Bogna Krasnodębska-Gardowska", review of Le Corbusier's book.
Krasnodębska-Gardowska Bogna (1900 -1986) graphic artist, pedagogue, in 1921 graduated from the State Pedagogical Courses for Drawing Teachers in Warsaw, then studied at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts (under Władysław Skoczylas), receiving her diploma in 1930. She was a member of, among others, the "RYT" Association(1925-39), ZPAG and the "Group of 9 printmakers" (1947-1960).
In 1933-35 she taught at the School of Crafts and Applied Arts in Warsaw .
After World War II she moved to Cracow and taught at the Technical University there( in 1948-1966).
