Konrad Srzednicki (1894-1993), painter, graphic artist, educator - professor and rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He studied at the private School of Painting and Drawing of K. Krzyżanowski in Warsaw (1921-1924), at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1924-1930; graduated 1936) under T. Pruszkowski, M. Kotarbiński and at W. Skoczylas. In 1929-39 he was an assistant in the Department of Artistic Graphics at the School of Fine Arts. Since 1939, he was associated with the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (among others, professor at the Department of Graphic Arts). He dealt mainly with graphic art - created his own school of lithography. Winner of many national and international awards.
