Janina Konarska - Slonimska (1900-1975) - painter, graphic artist and illustrator. Favorite pupil of Wladyslaw Skoczylas, co-founder of the Association of Polish Graphic Artists "Ryt", winner of international graphic competitions (including a silver medal in the Olympic Art and Literature Competition at the Los Angeles Olympics, 1932). In 1934 she married Antoni Slonimsky and limited her artistic activities, focusing on her husband.
