KAMIENIEC PODOLSKI (ukr. Кам'янець-Подільський). bird's-eye view of Kamieniec Podolski; published by N. De Fer, 1691; shows the fortress after the 1672 Turkish siege, modeled on an earlier plan by Cyprian Tomashevich (this is a mirror image of it); in the lower corners frames with title and explanatory notes; numbers from 1 to 28 indicate, among others: Palais du Lech (palace), Eglise Cathedrale de St. Pierre et St. Paul aujourd'huy la principale Mosquée où le Grand Seigneur entra le 3me Septemb. 1672 (Roman Catholic Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul), St. Nicolas des Jacobins (Church of St. Nicholas and Dominican Monastery), Convent des Franciscains (Church of the Assumption), Jesuites apresent Ecurie (Jesuit College?) and others; copper color, fair condition, after conservation; plate dimensions 290x218 mm; KAMIENIEC PODOLSKI Ville Forte des Estats de Pologne [...].
