Kacper BOŻEK (b. 1974), Final Solution, 2018

Born in 1974 in Cracow, Poland. He is a graduate of Antoni Kenar High School of Fine Arts in Zakopane and the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He completed his diploma thesis under the direction of Prof. Stanisław Wejman, and since 2011 he has been working as an assistant in the Copperplate Studio of his alma mater. In November 2013, he received his doctorate for a series of prints dedicated to "The Manuscript Found in Saragossa" and the life of Jan Potocki. He practices printmaking and drawing. He was the author of more than 20 solo exhibitions and took part in dozens of group exhibitions. He is the winner of Polish and foreign competitions. He won, among others, the second prize in the Premio Leonardo Sciascia Amateur d'estampes in 2013, the first prize in the 2019 "Grafiteka" competition, the second prize at the 11th International Triennial of Printmaking in Kochi in 2020 and the first prize in the VII Biennale of Printmaking in Valladolid, Spain.
