Biography
Between 1925 and 1930 he studied at the Municipal School of Decorative Arts. Then from 1930-1939 under the direction of E. Bartlomiejczyk at the Warsaw Academy. He was involved in printmaking and applied graphics, sculpture, toy-making, interior design. In 1936-38 he was the head of the Szczepanik Brothers Experimental Color Film Laboratory. In 1937-1939 he worked as a teacher in secondary schools. At the Polish School of Commerce he was a lecturer in advertising techniques, writing and technical drawing. In 1957-1961, he taught at the Graphic and Book Conservation Studio and was head of the Art and Research Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1948-1952 he was president of the Szczecin District of the ZPAP. He was the founder of the Artists' Cooperative in Szczecin, and cooperated with the Design Bureau in Szczecin.
