Janowski Janusz Pawel (1902-1982) - from 1918 attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow(with J. Mehoffer), then continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. For the 30th anniversary of his artistic work in 1950, a group exhibition of his works was organized at Zachęta. In 1953, an exhibition of his works - portraits of state dignitaries, prominent people of theater, music and literature - was organized again at Warsaw's Zachęta. J.J.'s work is dominated by portraiture, less often by landscapes and still life.
