Biography
Studied Painting under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Stanislaw Wisniewski. His works to date, however, are a negation of academic painting. Jacob's characteristic is to focus on the very act of creation, which is usually based on subconscious action. In his works, non-figurative composition is intertwined with the desire to convey color as a carrier of emotion. Jacob's found abandoned everyday objects are often used. Top on his list of inspirations are the Abstract Expressionists (Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Mark Rotko, Clyfford Still and others), the Dadaists and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Jakub is also an established experimental music maker on the Polish and foreign scene.
