Jacek Sroka (b.1957) practices painting, printmaking, drawing. He has had more than a hundred solo exhibitions and has participated in many Polish art shows at home and abroad. He has won awards and prizes at the Mulhouse Biennale of Graphics (1984), Grafica Atlantica in Reykjavik (1987), Grand Prix at the Vaasa Biennale of Graphics (1987), Grand Prix at the Seoul Biennale of Graphics (1988), Witold Wojtkiewicz Award in Cracow (2001), among others. In 2008, a retrospective exhibition of the artist was held at the National Museum in Cracow. Works in numerous museum collections (including the National Museum in Krakow; Metropolitan Museum, New York; Albertina Vienna; National Gallery, Washington; Museu Oscar Niemeyer, Curitiba; Utsunomiya Museum of Art, Utsunomiya).
